Area Beaches

Van's Beach

Public beach just beyond Van's Garage - a local favorite. The trail head to the beach is just beyond Van's Garage at the end of Cedar Street - downtown Leland.

North Beach

Public access found north of the Leland Harbor, off of N Lake Street, north of W Pearl Street at W William Street.

South Beach (Christmas Tree Cove)

Public beach on Lake Michigan at the end of Reynolds Street, west of Main Street.

Lake Leelanau ~ North

Bartholomew Park (Nedow's Beach)

Public beach and park on North Lake Leelanau with boat launch, picnic area and dock. Also has lifeguard at some times during the summer and swimming lessons. On Pearl Street east of Main Street 7 blocks.

Schneider's Beach & Park

Public beach with picnic area on North Lake Leelanau at the end of Popp Road (off M-204) 1.5 miles west of village of Lake Leelanau.


Boat/Kayak/SUP Access

Leland Township Harbor: boat launch onto Lake Michigan at Leland Township Harbor 
East Leland Park Boat Launch: boat launch at East Leland Park, Upper Lake Leelanau
Carp River Leland Public Water Access Site: access to the Carp River in Leland
